New knowledge added to the ZIP toolkit. Our team member joined the Erasmus+ training course Local Volunteering for Community Impact in rural Romania, bringing together youth workers and organisation representatives from Italy, Greece, Germany, France and Latvia, alongside the hosting organisation’s team of trainers and local young volunteers from Romania. Over six days, participants worked through the full process of developing local volunteering programmes: identifying real community needs, shaping ideas, engaging and motivating young people, ensuring safety and measuring impact. The course concluded with a Youthpass certificate (the European recognition tool for competence development through non-formal learning) and experience to carry forward into everyday work.
