As part of the Green Ethics project, ZIP worked with scientific partners to create the Green Protocol, a guide to help people and organizations cut their carbon emissions on a daily basis.

The Green Protocol offers different strategies to reduce the environmental impact of human activities. It is divided in two parts; one for organizational management and one for creating environmentally friendly practices.

This protocol was inspired by green project management documents provided by ProProgressione, ATetro and Theater Green Book. ZIP worked with other project partners to share methods, practices, and experiences with green networks all across Europe.

All project and associated partners have adopted both protocols, and we now encourage other organizations to do the same.

GREEN PROTOCOL FOR MANAGEMENT: provides guidelines and tools to implement green practices into project management, focusing on energy, office supplies, recycling, water and catering, travel, and meetings.

GREEN PROTOCOL FOR EVENTS: helps sustainably organize cultural events to significantly reduce their ecological footprint. It also provides a guide that includes sustainable practices for waste reduction and ensures responsible resource management.

The Green Protocol reflects Green E.Th.I.Cs’ commitment to sustainability by encouraging greener practices and positive cultural change.
